How I Discovered EFT Tapping
In 2011 at 34 years old, I was determined to heal myself so that I could become a mother.
I was forced to leave my teaching career because I was in debilitating chronic body pain, diagnosed with fibromyalgia and experiencing over 40 physical symptoms. I spent countless hours online trying to find answers to “heal my life”. If you’ve Googled anything to heal your life, you know there’s a lot of stuff out there. There are many theoretical processes, but at the end of the day, which ones actually work?
The light bulb went off for me when I realized than in order to heal the body, I had to work with the mind and vice versa. There is a mind body connection that often gets ignored in the healing process. I tried many things and within the past decade, I have successfully and holistically healed myself of fibromyalgia, two hip surgeries, traumatic brain injuries, my childhood wounds and each of those 40 symptoms I mentioned above.

The one modality that continues to produce quick results for me and the clients I work with is EFT, aka Emotional Freedom Technique.

David Feinstein, world-renowned clinical psychologist calls it “the most powerful tool for personal evolution I’ve seen in more than 50 years as a clinical psychologist!”. There are over 100 studies that demonstrate the efficacy of it!
How Does It Work?
EFT, also know as tapping, is a self-help, evidence based therapeutic modality that effectively helps resolve so many issues. It can be a fear, a bad memory, a physical pain or any unresolved issue.
In a traditional tapping session, we typically focus on the challenge or issue, and use our fingertips to tap 5-7 times on nine specific meridian points of the body. This sequence is done for one round or many rounds. EFT works best when specific statements are used, although there are various ways to get great results.

What Exactly is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique or tapping is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern energy psychology. Research has shown that EFT has even lowered cortisol significantly more than traditional talk therapy or resting.
EFT has been described as “a brief intervention combining elements of exposure, cognitive therapy, and somatic [or physical] stimulation of acupressure points on the face and body.”

What is it:
Tapping, also know as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), is an evidence based, therapeutic psychology technique can help you to process the subconscious and conscious emotions that you are holding on to, preventing you from getting what you want in life.
How It Works:
You will spend time with me tapping on different points on your upper body, mostly face and upper torso, while repeating statements related to your issue. This will send a calming signal to the amygdala in your brain, rewiring how your brain responds to the issue.
Why Tapping?
EFT or tapping has been scientifically shown to reduce stress, calm anxiety, relieve pain, improve sleep, help with depression and much more! In a 2012 study, tapping was shown to reduce cortisol levels, the stress hormone, by 43% and was more effective than talk therapy alone!
Emotions are "Energy in Motion" and we need to be able to move them in order to regain our health and vitality!

My goal is to provide optimal service and accommodate you when you book a tapping session. When you book your session, you are holding a space on the calendar that is no longer available to other clients. In order to be respectful to others, please cancel your appointment as soon as you know you will not be able to make it, preferably 24 hours prior to the time. Sessions are in high demand and your advanced notice can allow someone else to access that appointment time.
